My $372 Scratched Glasses Nightmare: A Bot-Loop & Wrong Return Saga! 😡
My online shopping experience was absolutely terrible, and I feel compelled to share my story as a cautionary tale for anyone considering ordering from this website. I'm left thinking: "Issue still not resolved. After FINALLY TALKING TO A HUMAN, THEY SENT THE WRONG INFORMATION FOR THE RETURN. Ineptitude at its finest. My lawyers will have a field day with this if it does not get resolved." I spent $372 on scratched glasses and then struggled for two days just trying to get a human on the phone to fix it. The endless loop of a bot sending a return label that never arrived in my email drove me to leave this review and demand a proper conversation with customer service.
Customer: I've been trying to reach someone for two days about an order. I received scratched glasses, and I haven't gotten the return label your bot keeps saying it's sending. CS Rep: I apologize profusely for the frustration and the issues you've experienced with your recent order, especially regarding the scratched glasses and the difficulties reaching us and receiving the return label. Can you please provide your order number so I can look into this immediately? Customer: It's #XYZ123. And frankly, this whole situation is unacceptable. I spent $372, and I'm just getting the runaround. Then, when I finally talked to a human, the information for the return was wrong! CS Rep: Thank you for the order number. I see the details here. It appears there was an error with the generated return label, and I sincerely apologize that the initial human interaction didn't fully resolve this for you. I'm processing a new, corrected return label right now, and I'm also arranging for a pre-paid shipping label to be sent directly to your email within the next 15 minutes. Customer: So I send them back, and then what? Am I supposed to be without glasses indefinitely while you fix your mistakes? What about a refund or replacement process? CS Rep: Once we receive the scratched pair, we can immediately process either a full refund to your original payment method or a replacement order for a new pair, whichever you prefer.
